WHEN … THIS WINTER/SPRING
Please refer to “Important Dates” below. There will be a reception Sunday, May 3, 2020 and a display of the art will run for one week.

WIN AN AWARD!
The winners (1st, 2nd, 3rd & Honorable Mentions) will receive awards and be featured in a press release in local papers/magazines.

IMPORTANT DATES

Monday, February 24 – Submissions will begin. Bring your best.

Friday, March 20 – End date for submissions.

Friday, April 10 – Jurors will have made their decisions, the website will go up showing the work and the student artists will be contacted.

Monday, April 20 – Delivery of artwork begins.

Wednesday, April 29 – All artwork must be delivered to Page Waterman by this date.

Thursday, April 30 – Jurors will choose the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners as well as honorable mentions.

Friday, May 1 – The gallery will display all of the work.

Sunday, May 3 – A fun Reception to celebrate the art, artists, teachers. Bring your friends and family: 2:00 – 4:00 p.m.

Monday, May 11 – The show comes down and artwork is available to be picked up.

Art Submission Instructions
Entries of up to three (3) submissions per student will be accepted beginning Monday, February 24, 2020.

  • Send one entry with one photo at a time by email
  • The photo should be the best image possible; jurors will base decisions on the photos
  • Address it to: ryan@pagewaterman.com
  • Subject line must read “Next Up 2020 plus the name of your High School (e.g. “Next Up 2020 Weston High School”)
  • Include the following in each email:

Name, High School, Year of Graduation

Artwork title, Medium Used, Size (inches).

The deadline for submissions is Friday, March 20.
