Betty Ball was born in Charleston, West Virginia. After moves to Texas, Rhode Island, Manhattan and Brooklyn, she now lives and works in Rowayton, Connecticut. She received her BFA in Graphic Design from the Rhode Island School of Design, and has been working as a designer and fine artist ever since. Betty brings her design influences to work in fine art compositions capturing the light and color in the world around her. She works in a variety of media, including painting, drawing and printmaking. Her works are held in private and corporate collections; and have been exhibited in the United States, Bulgaria, Canada, England, France, Spain and Hong Kong. She works out of her Rowayton studio and the studios at the Center for Contemporary Printmaking in Norwalk, CT.
