(1914-2000)
Bernard Corey was a prolific painter of New England landscapes, working en plein air, and best known for his small, gestural studies of the changing seasons. He was born and lived the majority of his life in Grafton Massachusetts, moving to Rockport for a short while to better establish himself as a professional painter.

He was a member of The Allied Artists Society, The Salmagundi Club of New York City, The Guild of Boston Artists, The Hudson Valley (NY) Art Association, The North Shore Art Association, The Academic Artists Society, The American Artists Professional League, The American Watercolor Society, and The Rockport Art Association.
