“I was born in Worcester Massachusetts and grew up surrounded by art and artists. My Grandfather was a poet and painter in Bangor Maine and my uncle, Paul Black, was a successful impressionist painter based out of Portland and a huge influence.
“Works by modern masters such as John Singer Sargent and Winslow Homer, as well as contemporary painters like Lucien Freud, continue to greatly influence my work.
“Living in New England you cannot help but be drawn to the beautiful landscape, and over the last few years I have been interested in capturing the regions seasonal changes.”
